# Automatic status updates

> Available on Pro and Business plans (requires sales rep tracking).

## How it works

When your sales reps' WhatsApp numbers are connected, Trama reads the conversations and detects status changes automatically:

| What happens                                           | What Trama does                     |
| ------------------------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------- |
| Sales rep sends their first message to the customer    | Moves from TO ATTEND to IN CONTACT  |
| Sales rep sends a quote PDF                            | Moves from IN CONTACT to QUOTED     |
| Sales rep sends a price in the conversation            | Moves from IN CONTACT to QUOTED     |
| Customer says "I already booked with another business" | Moves to LOST (reason: competition) |
| 15 days pass without response after 3 touches          | Moves to LOST (reason: no response) |

## Transitions requiring confirmation

Not everything moves automatically. Won sales always require confirmation from the sales rep, either from Mission Control or by telling the agent "we closed Lucy's sale".

## Without tracking

Without connected WhatsApp numbers (Starter plan), the sales rep moves opportunities manually from Mission Control or tells the Trama agent via chat.
